To get all the posts in time reverse order:
- search - don't enter any keywords - expand results to 1000 - limit to only ITC area - expand days to 365
Looking at it I realized much has changed so you'll have to keep in mind all of the rev-2 discussions and the changes I have already made (things that are essentially obsolete now).
In reviewing my record I think you can get up to speed really quickly. I think I could guide you quickly through the construction I did without my missteps and have it go quickly - but I think it would be wise to have a good plan in place for buttons first (designed harness).
Did you have any luck at walmart?

Yep, I got the same gun as you today. I realized I don't have the right screwdriver to open the xbox controller so that is on my shopping list. I don't think Home depot is going to have it so probably just tack it onto an amazon order(probably cheaper anyways).

I'm shocked you found the same gun. Do me a favor and copy down any additional MFG info you can find on the box. All I got off of mine was "Adventure Force" by a company called Toy Things. Would be nice to know the actual name of the MFG instead of the Americanized pseudoname - found this link that lists Chinese toy gun MFGs: www.alibaba.com/countrysearch/CN/toy-gun.htmlYou could always drill out the security post in the center and turn it into a normal star-burst. We need some kind of long distance pneumatic transport system so I can send you things quickly when you need them. You have anyone at lightning that lives down in my direction?

Unfortunately no one is living your direction nowadays. Most people are either closer to LG or are in NJ.
The barcode for my gun is 02249915044. It is labelled Asst No. 28115 No. 15044. Also says its Marketed by Wal-mart Stores Inc. on the box so it might be a Walmart exclusive.
All I see is Toy Things 30 Canton Road Kowloon Hong Kong

Any indicator that it is modeled after a real weapon?
