Store the original file on some outside server. Recommend google photos shared to public or members of the team. Optionally create thumbnails and upload them to a file server you can directly link to. Mine get stored on www.3dig.com/itc/<file> - if you want to do this, I can send you procedures and credentials for logging in. You can use the proboards "url" tag (set = to the url inside the tag) followed by the "img" tag to create thumbnails that are clickable. This allows multiple images per post. I went through all the old posts and re-generated them using this approach to recover file space for future attachments.

You might want to create thumbnails and use those as the IMG tag, and then use URL for your full image -otherwise it stretches the page way out.
