The 400Kbps fast-mode operation is supported by the BCM (RPi Broadcom chip), the AM (MMA8452Q), and the PWM device (PCA9685). Since you indicated that the DAC also supports it we are probably safe bumping it up once we figure out how to properly configure it on each.

The PWM chip actually supports 1Mbps called Fast-Mode Plus - but nothing else does - so doesn't matter.
